How to create a PDF QR code

A PDF QR opens a hosted page for your document. Upload once, print the code, and replace the file later when you use a dynamic slot.

Create the code

In the studio choose PDF, upload your file, set a title, preview on mobile, then download. Free includes 3 hosted/dynamic slots.

File tips

Compress large PDFs. Prefer text-based PDFs over huge image scans so phones load quickly on cellular.

Update without reprint

Keep the dynamic short link. Swap the PDF in the dashboard when the brochure changes; stickers stay valid.

FAQ

Is PDF QR free?

Hosted PDF codes use a dynamic slot — 3 included on Free, up to 50 on Pro. Static website-URL QRs to an external PDF host are also available.

PDF vs menu type?

Use PDF for a document download/view. Use Menu when you want structured sections and items that edit like a digital menu.
