What is a dynamic QR code?
A dynamic QR stores a short XeonQR link (like /r/…) instead of your final page. When someone scans, we send them to your destination and count the scan. You can change where it goes later without reprinting.
What is a static QR code?
A static QR bakes your content into the black-and-white pattern. It works forever, even offline. You cannot change the destination or see scan counts after you print it.
How do I create a dynamic QR on XeonQR?
Sign in, open the studio, enter your content, and turn on tracking (Pro). Download the code and print it. Manage destinations and scan stats anytime from your dashboard.
Is dynamic QR free on XeonQR?
Free accounts include 3 dynamic QR codes with scan tracking and editable links. Pro unlocks up to 50 dynamic slots and removes ads.
How many dynamic QR codes do I get with Pro?
Pro includes up to 50 active dynamic codes. Paused codes still use a slot. Delete one to free a slot for a new code.
Can I edit the destination after printing?
Yes on Pro dynamic codes. Update the destination in the dashboard. The printed short-link pattern stays the same, so stickers and flyers keep working.
Do dynamic QR codes expire?
No. XeonQR does not shut redirects off after a trial — see our Never Expire promise. Pro removes ads. Older Free-era dynamic codes may show a short ad page after 10 scans.
Can I switch a static QR to dynamic later?
Not the same print. The pattern is fixed. Create a new dynamic code on Pro and replace the stickers — or start with dynamic before you print.
